Merry Christmas!!

This last week and weekend really got me ready for Christmas. I had a WSU work party on Wednesday, we went to Texas Roadhouse. Thursday Kyle and I had a Christmas party. We went our for sushi! We are going to try and make that a tradition for us on Christmas. On Friday I had a work party for the Salon and we went to Texas Roadhouse, I know weird. And on Saturday we had the DellaLucia's family Christmas party. Our family is getting so big we had to have it at a church, it was really fun. I have had so many parties I think I am just ready for the real deal! We have a family dinner on Christmas Eve on both mine and Kyle's family. It is so hard to be to both sides parties, I hate having to choose, I wish we could just do everything and go everywhere and Christmas was like 5 days long! I am getting really excited though becasue Santa has already been to our house. I have 3 presents under the tree that are wrapped and say to Shayla from Santa!! I love Kyle!!
Merry Christmas! Hope everyone gets what they want!

Birthday follow-up

So... Kyle's birthday weekend was really relaxed but a lot of fun! On Friday night I made him dinner and my mom came up and we opened some presents. A little later we went over to his parents house and we ate pie and opened more presents. I even got some presents that his mom had brought me all the way from Rome!! Way cool! We just hung out there the rest of the night with my favorite boys Kayden and Kurt. Then Saturday we ended up going to Tepanyaki's and Chase and Hillary came with us. It was so good! I love that place! Kyle loved the sushi so much we are going out again this week for sushi! We are addicted. After that we just played some fun games with Chase and Hill the rest of the night. On Sunday we went to my parents for dinner and watched the Cowboys and played some games. It was a great weekend. I know Kyle really enjoyed it and I am so glad we have our families and friends to share it with us. I have one regret and that is I didn't get any pictures, my camera battery was dead!:( so I told Kyle I am going to have to take some the next time we are all dressed up and we are going to pretend like it is his birthday!haha

I passed!! Yahoo!

I have been so nervous for the past 4 weeks waiting for my praxis test result! The praxis is a test that all teachers have to take to basically become a teacher. It is very similar to the ACT! It took me 4 hours and I had to pay $200. I got my results back today and I was nervous because I didn't want to not pass and be all depressed on Kyle's birthday...but I PASSED! I am so excited it is unbelievable!

NFR!! Birthday??!!

Since the NFR started we have not been doing much besides watching the rodeo every night! It started clear back on 12/5 and is on every night till 12/12! Long rodeo!! This is Kyle and his dad's favorite time of the year. They even have a fantasy rodeo team together! Friday night we had some friends over and watched the rodeo and after played a couple of fun games of pictionary! We love that game, its awsome! We always play girls against boys and of course the ladies always win! I had a way busy Saturday at work the next day, I guess a lot of ladies need Christmas nails! So Saturday night we hurried and grabbed some dinner and then went to our friends to watch the rodeo again! After dinner and the rodeo I was a little more awake so we went over to Cassie's parents house becasue they were having a huge party with a live band and everything! It was so fun, by the end of the night Cassie and I were the new lead singers of the band!!lol! Sunday we slept in and it felt so good. Later that day we went to my parents for dinner and the cowboys game. It was a great day except for the cowboys lost and it made Kyle sad! Watching the rodeo later that night cheered him right up! silly boy!

This Friday is Kyle's 25th birthday!! old man! I have his presents all wrapped under the tree! I really want to do something fun like go to SLC and eat and stay down there but when I mentioned this to Kyle he was not thrilled about it. He says what he really wants for his birthday is my home cooking and another pie! I don't know what to do! I want to go out and have some fun but he really wants to stay home with just us two. He really is an old man! I guess it is his birthday so he can decide. I think we'll do what he wants Friday and then on Saturday have his birthday my way!!lol! What do ya think??!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was so great! I was so full I didn't think I would ever eat again! All the pies I made were so yummy! Kyle wants me to make him a pie for his birthday now instead of a cake!lol! Like I said before we had Thanksgiving dinner at Kyle's parents on the Sunday before then we went to my parents on Thursday. Kyle's family has 3 grand kids and on my side we don't have any kids so there was a lot less chaos at my parents house then at Kyle's parents but it is okay because I love these boys! Just check out these stud's!
Kurt is two and Kayden is six

The big brother!

Our little cowboy! He already thinks he is a cowboy, uh oh!!

So behind!!!

I am so behind! It is already Thanksgiving and I haven't posted since Halloween! We really haven't been up to much just busy finishing up school! We got an early Christmas present which I am really excited about. Kyle found me a computer desk and so we have been busy transforming one of our rooms into a computer room and nail room! We are going to try and get a printer on black Friday!!!
While cleaning out the new computer room I had to move out all my decorations including the Christmas tree! Since I was moving it I decided to just put it up! Kyle said why not and so the other night me and him set up all our Christmas decorations and tree! It is early but it has really put me in the Christmas spirit! Kyle doesn't say anything but I know the tree and everything has put a little Christmas cheer in is heart!Lol!!
Well back to the present holiday Thanksgiving, we had Thanksgiving at Kyle's moms on Sunday so we are planning on just going to my parents on Thursday! I am in charge of the appetizers and pies! I have already made some practice pies so I am really excited!
Well Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Fall Ya'll

It is officially fall and I am loving it! Something about fall makes me feel like I'm falling in love again. I think it is because Kyle and I met in the fall and it is just so familiar to us. Fall is the time I get my friend back! He is done with rodeos and now we get to spend our weekends together. Speaking of weekends we had a great one. My mom has been trying to plan a camping trip for our whole family. It is hard because Kyle rodeos every weekend in the summer and Chris (my sister Sarah's husband) hunts and hunting starts right when rodeo ends so my mom picked this last weekend and we all took off work and went camping. We left on Friday and came home Sunday so it wasn't too long. We camped on my grandma's property in Spring City Utah, kinda by Manti and Ephraim. My grandma and grandpa came too and stayed in my mom and dads trailer. My grandma had the best time of her life. She loved every minute of it. She was so happy to be able to camp on and explore her land. Spring City is where she is from and she really enjoyed showing us the house she was born in and grew up in back in town. My sister and her husband have everything including a new Rhino so my grandparents rode in the back of the Rhino on all the rides so it worked out great. Can you imagine a 69 year old grandma driving up the mountain on a 4-wheeler. Sarah and Chris also have a huge trailer so that is where Kyle and I stayed since I wouldn't let Kyle take up his horse trailer. His trailer has living quarters but it was much funner staying with my sis. We packed lunches and rode all day long on Saturday. We rode up Spring City canyon and it was beautiful. The fall leaves on the Aspen trees were amazing. I took my dog Farley and he had a blast. On Saturday and Sunday Farley and I woke up at like 7:30 and went for a run on some trails and he thought he was in heaven. He was sniffing and running like crazy. It was really pretty and I enjoyed being up in the fresh air. We were lucky we had good weather on Saturday but Sunday is was really windy and started to rain so we got out of there fast and got home just in the nick of time to watch the Cowboys lose. Kyle was so sad!! But his fantasy team won so it cheered him up a little! I have a lot of pictures I will post but I have been having technical difficulties so those will be coming soon. Lots of Love Enjoy the Fall Ya'll!

A FaMiLy WeeKEnd!

The weekend was good! Friday was pretty much the last rodeo for the year! Yay! There might be a couple here and there but not religiously every weekend. I will finally get to be with Kyle for a whole weekend. His last rodeo was in St. George and he got 3rd with a 4.9! Awesome! I like it when he wins. The rest of the weekend went by fast. Saturday night we went to one of Kyle's friends from high school, Ryan Sandoval, OMG!! he has the nicest house ever!! But if you know Ryan what else do you expect. It was fun we played catch-a- phrase, I love that game. On Sunday the DellaLucia's had a family BBQ get together! Fun and Yummy! there was so much good food. I never have to worry about Kyle not wanting to go to family get togethers because he has learned that the great food is worth it all!! and WOW are family is huge! It is a little intimidating for a new hubby to join this big, crazy, loud Italian family but Kyle is a social guy and uh.... a ladies man I guess (my dad has 5 sisters) so he has no problem fitting in. The only thing that ruined the weekend was that the stupid Cowboys lost! Thanks Tony Romo, he threw three interceptions!!
On Monday night the community had a fund raiser dinner for Kyle's mother Sandra. Sandra is a nurse and volunteers every year to go to Africa to give surgeries and medical treatment to the tribal people of Africa. This is a very expensive trip so they do a lot of fund raisers. The people that own the Punkinaze on 1900 are Sandra's good friends and to kick off the Punkinaze they had big dinner of homemade Mexican food. People brought donations and then got to eat dinner. It was so good and so many people came.
There is also a 5K run/walk that they are having for the Africa trip this Saturday the 26th. Unfortunately I will be participating in it. I have not been training at all so hopefully I can make it!! So if there is anyone that likes 5K's let me know!

Casha's wedding

This weekend we had Casha's wedding. It was so beautiful! Everything was decorated so cute and and Casha looked amazing! Kyle and I made it to the ceremony at 5 but we had a friends birthday party so we had to leave around 7. Kyle actually stayed entertained the whole time....I wonder if it was because he was watching college football on his phone the whole time?!!AHH! Oh well least he was there with me. Whatever makes him happy. Congrats Cash you guys will be so happy together!!

Labor Day weekend!

I loved having an actual weekend this past weekend. I work Saturday so this weekend I actually had two days. The weekend started off crazy with Casha's bachelorette party!! I will get pictures of this posted soon....basically it was as fun as a night can get we had a limo and everything! Saturday was a drag, I had to work. But Saturday night was fun Kyle and I just hung out and watched a movie. Sunday was a good day it was mine and Kyle's six month anniversary!! Can you believe it has already been six months?! I can't!! We started the day by sleeping in of coarse then we made a yummy breakfast, we just chilled the rest of the afternoon and later that evening we headed up to Evanston for a rodeo. Kyle did awesome and I did a good job videoing him. After that we were both so tired for some reason so we just grabbed something to eat and drove home. We just hung out at out house again that night and it was fun!! On Monday Kyle had to work :( So I went with my mom and dad, grandma and two sisters for a fun family drive! We drove up to Bear Lake and got a yummy shake (banana cream pie, yum yum! you gotta try it!) There I saw my first grade teacher and was so excited cause I loved her!! We talked and she remembered me! After we ate we got back in the truck and headed back home over Monte and came back that way. It was a good time, we saw a lot of dear and antelope, but the leaves have not started to change yet so that was sad. Overall it was a great weekend and I am excited because it is Thursday which means the next weekend is right around the corner! We only have two rodeos this weekend and they are both in Salt Lake so I am glad they are not too far!

House Hunting!!

Well school is back in and things are a bit more hectic, but we are getting into the routine of things. I think I am going to enjoy my classes this fall a little bit more then the summer ones. These classes are directly aimed toward my major and I really do enjoy them so it is fun. I know Kyle is excited for this time of year because FOOTBALL! starts back up again!! For those of you that know me I was raised in a house of all girls and we had all the rights to the t.v. Well Kyle was raised in a house with all boys and he is all sports. I have adapted and have learned to live with the fact that Kyle has a deep passion for sport center. So I too have learned to like watching sports, my sisters think I am crazy for it but it does get addicting. We still do have our nights when we get the control of the remote but during football season they change. Kyle gets it Saturday, Sunday, Monday and sometimes Thursday and I get it the other nights!! HaHa ya gotta compromise it works well!!
So on top of all this fun stuff Kyle has been trying to sell two horses. He has one traded and the other one is almost out the door. This means we are on the road to buying a house! I am so excited but sad at the same time. I thought we would only be staying in my grandmas house a couple months but it has been so wonderful I haven't even looked for houses. Now Kyle is telling to get my butt in gear and to pick a house! It is going to be hard to find one as good as the house we are in but I am up to the challenge. So if anyone knows about houses for sale let me know!

Schools out for the summer...

So my week off of school has been great so far. I have had a stress free mind. Usually every Monday and Wednesday me and Kyle ride the horses, either take em for a ride or just exercise them. Last night was really fun though because we went to our friend Brady's house and rode with him and Cassie. We just rode around at Brady's place but it was a good time being there with our friends. One minor problem though... it was so so dusty. At the end of the night we just played Margo Polo on our horses trying to find each other through the dust in the arena. I am excited for another fun night tonight because we are having a little girls night and going out for sushi at Tona! Kyle has to practice tonight so it will be a good night for the ladies.

I am dying.... I have been looking forward to this week all summer well the end of this week that is. The end of the semester if finally here but with the end near that means the exams and finals are something you have to get out of the way first. I have two really hard finals that i have to take. One on Thursday and one on Friday. This is what I have worked for all summer it all comes down to these stupid test. Well I better get studying!!

Its official!!

Kyle graduated from Weber State this last May but it just recently became official. At Weber State wearing a gown is not graduating, wearing that weird hat is not graduating, walking down the aisle is not even graduating. Getting the diploma in the mail is graduating! It is finally official, Kyle's diploma came in the mail and he is a Technical Sales graduate! Yay! So I am not back tracking when I post this picture because I wouldn't want to post it if it wasn't really true and we got a letter in the mail from WSU saying just kidding you have an art class to take. (that actually happened)....Kyle was told he was graduated last December and the only reason he didn't walk was because he missed the deadline to get on the list. but it is a good thing he did miss it because in the middle of January we got a letter saying take an art class. Oopsie.. forgot one minor detail! Well I am relieved to say this time it is legit. I'm so proud of you babe!

rOdeO sEasOn

This summer has been one crazy summer. I have known Kyle for 5 summers but this summer has by far been the most crazziest. I don't know if it is because I am the wife now and I have to take care of him or if its because I have never been fully invovled with the rodeo fees and cost plus the expenses of living on our own.The summer is definatly rodeo season. Kyle started rodeos earlier this year but it started to be every weekend around the first weekend of June. After that he has been gone every weeekend and sometimes during the week. The rodeos usually start on Thursdays and they try and go to about 4 or 5 in a weekend. Sometimes he stays over night when he has to be to the rodeos in the morning but usually he comes home right after the rodeo even if it is a 5 hour drive.

Future and Beyond

I guess there is no better place to start then the actual uniting of our lives together forever!!! We have been married 5 months on August 6th. I can't believe it has already been that long. It has really flown by, but we have loved every minute of it. We are living in West Weber in my Grandma DellaLucia's old house. It is very nice and we are fortunate to have such a great place. It is very close to mine and Kyle's parents houses. This has actually wound up being a good thing!! Kyle keeps his horses at his parents house so it works out great being so close. And I like being close to my parents because there are a lot of nights I am home alone when Kyle is on the rodeo curcuit!
